Get Excited About Air Time!

There’s nothing like being up in the air and seeing the sights from a bird’s eye view. There are plenty of ways to do that along and around Route 97. We’ll take you from south to north on an aerial journey that you’ll not soon forget.

Zip-lining in the Okanagan

Zip ZoneFirst stop, Peachland, located approximately 75 minutes north of the USA/Canada border on Hwy 97. The Zip Zone has Canada’s highest freestyle zip-lines. Yes, that’s right, six of the highest, longest, fastest, epic-est zip-lines in Canada that criss-cross the breathtaking Deep Creek Gorge. Take a Leap of Faith if you dare. Simply climb up a 24 m (80 ft.) pole on the edge of a 91 m (300 ft.) canyon and….  jump! There’s even a zip-line for the younger ones. If your child is under 32 kg (70 lbs.) they qualify as Little Zippers and get to ride tandem with one of our awesome fun guides!

Catch Some Air Above the Water

Ogopogo ParasailDrive north to Kelowna and you’ll find two more ways to take to the air. Parasailing is the number one watersport adventure in the Okanagan Valley. With Ogopogo Parasail there is fun for the whole family. Guests as young as four years old can enjoy the ride with a parent as a tandem or with two friends as a triple. Best of all, there’s no experience necessary. Don’t worry if you can’t swim, lifejackets are provided and all rides take off and land right from the back of the boat.

HydroFlyNext up, hydroflying! It’s one of the easiest water sports to learn. Imagine shooting up out of the water and up into the air above the lake. Jet nozzles give you the thrust you need to get airborne. It’s up to you to stay there! And yes, it is perfectly safe. Fly solo, bring a friend or drag the whole family along. The team at Hydrofly Kelowna would love to give you the experience and the high of a lifetime.
