Anyone who has lived in these parts for a long time (on either side of the border) remembers this establishment as the Pastime Tavern. In the 70s, the Pastime sold more Olympia Beer than any other tavern in Washington State. Legend has it that our mahogany back bar, a local landmark of sorts, arrived in Oroville via Cape Horn, sailing up the west coast of South America to reach U.S. shores. The place sprang back to life as the Pastime Bar and Grill in 2013.
Serving strictly an over-21 clientele, the Pastime fronts on Route 97. We offer a unique dining experience, wholesome, tasty food from a menu designed to please many palates. In addition to spirits, our full-service bar carries several beers on tap, including Oroville’s own, and a selection of wines.
We schedule live bands some evenings. Pool and shuffleboard are free and we have big screen TVs for sporting events. Our summertime outdoor seating allows you to enjoy a cold one on Main Street or cool off in the shade of our Alley Bar. We cater private events and offer take out. The facility is ADA compliant. Wi-Fi is free.

Reservations are not usually necessary but if your event is special or your party includes six or more, reservations are recommended.
Although we are open year-round our hours do vary according to the season. Crowds and the season determine when we close. If it’s getting late, you may want to call to make sure we are still open.
