Located in the newly formed Golden Mile Bench DVA in the South Okanagan of British Columbia, Culmina Family Estate Winery, is the result of a lifetime of experience in the wine industry for Don, Elaine and Sara Triggs. Through their hard work, scientific study, commitment to craft, unwavering pursuit of excellence and a longstanding faith in the potential for icon-quality wines from Canadian soil, Culmina Family Estate Winery was born.
Built in 2012, Culmina’s stunning Tasting Room and state-of the-art winemaking facility was designed by well known Vancouver based architect Cedric Burgers. Opened in 2013, the facility is located approximately 7 minutes drive south of Oliver, and 25 minutes north from Osoyoos, off of Road 13 from Highway 97.
Culmina is excited to re-open for the 2017 Season. Visitors may choose from a variety of Hospitality Experiences, including:
- Reserve Tastings: Drop-Ins Welcome, Reservations Recommended, Max 10 people per seating; seating times: 10:15, 11:15, 12:15, 1:15, 2:15, 3:15, 4:15 ($10 pp, $5 waived with purchase)
- Portfolio Tasting: Reservations Required, and Subject to Availability ($20 pp, waived with 6 bottle purchase pp)
- Vineyard & Winery Tour: Reservations Required, Max 6 people per tour ($25 pp, $10 coupon towards the purchase of a bottle of Hypothesis)

All of Culmina’s Hospitality Experiences may be booked in advance for your convenience.
All hospitality experiences at Culmina involve a seated tasting in an intimate setting, and occur at set times throughout the day, like a ferry schedule. Reserve Tastings take place on the ’15 of every hour, and take approximately 45 minutes to complete.
Because each seating can only accommodate so many guests at any given time (to a maximum of 10 people without advance notice), we recommend booking ahead to ensure that you secure your spot at the table, especially on weekends and holiday weekends during the high season. This said, is is absolutely possible to drop-in, pending availability of seating at your desired tasting time.
When you arrive for your Hospitality Experience, please note that the gate will be closed to keep wild animals from entering the vineyard. Drive up to the intercom station, press the buzzer, and wait for the attendant’s response. Then, proceed to park in front of the first building, directly in front of the Tasting Room. Our Hospitality team will be waiting for you inside the large Tasting Room doors.

Culmina’s Tasting Room is open for hospitality experiences 7 days per week from May 1st to October 31st. During the Hospitality season, the first tasting of the day commences at 10:15 am, while the last starts at 4:15 pm (and finishes at 5). The office is open Monday to Friday from 10-5 pm.
During the off-season, the Tasting Room is closed for hospitality experiences, but the office is open for Wine Sales, Monday to Friday, from 10-4, excluding Statutory Holidays.
We respectfully request 24 hours notice to cancel bookings. Except for special requests by large groups, Hospitality Experiences will only be charged for upon check out at the winery.
