Polish up your clubs and take them on a road trip on Route 97’s golf trail. There are dozens of golf courses on both sides of the border. Many of these were created by respected course designers including Jack Nicklaus, David McLay Kidd and Thomas McBroom. When the round is done, relax at the 19th hole. Take in the spectacular views, great food and music. Many of our courses share their green space with and deer, bear, moose, cougar, coyotes, and birds.
Variety Beyond Compare
We have championship 18-hole courses for those who want to take home bragging rights. Then there’s the 9-hole courses for those who want a quick golf fix. Tee off where cattle once roamed on an expansive ranch. Try for a birdie by Canada’s only desert, Go for par on a mountain. Hit the links in a valley or beside a vineyard. Rolling hills, lush land, lakes and rivers create the perfect backdrop for your game. Golf season here begins as soon as the snow melts. It continues right through to October. There’s plenty of time to get your daily dose of greens and play a round.
Beyond the Last Hole
Stay the night on the course. Accommodations range from world class resorts to RV parks where you can bring your home with you. After you’ve conquered the course, come and taste the bounty of the Columbia Cascades. World class restaurants, live music, and seasonal events are yours to enjoy. Don’t forget to add some grapes to your greens. Trade in memories of that bad slice with memories of sipping and swirling world class wines.
